Sally Merrill

Sally graduated from Oberlin College /AB and taught Physical Education for two years. She continued her education and is a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education and Medicine with an emphasis in guidance counseling. She was a guidance counselor for 7 years at Newton High School, Newton, MA. Sally was the Varsity Tennis Coach for Newton South High School guiding them to two state championships and was named coach of the year. She later became a Tennis Pro and Assistant Director of Tennis at Babson Rec Center, a large commercial tennis facility in Wellesley, MA where she taught, planned daytime women’s programs and supervised all women’s daytime teams (about 7 teams running all year on academic schedule). Sally and her husband Nate currently reside in Camden. Sally teaches part time at MRC and continues her high school coaching at Camden Hills Regional High School, coaching JV girls to answer a need for more high school girls who wanted to play and could not be included on girls’ varsity team. Sally has two grown sons and enjoys her grandchildren, sailing and skiing.
