Eric was born and grew up in Maine, and after an extensive basketball career, renewed a love of tennis, beginning in Portland USTA leagues and refining itself when another career in photography, relocated him to HOLLYWOOD and Southern California for 10 years. When he he wasn't on a film set, during breaks between projects, he devoted long hours taking lessons, competing in opens and USTA leagues, and playing in the clubs and courts around Santa Monica. After returning to Maine, Eric has continued playing and teaching, and has coached the Medomak Valley High School team for the last 6 years.
